Kidd's Cakes & Bakery want your online ordering experience to be satisfying and worry free. To ensure your safety and privacy, our online policy is outlined as follows.
Prices
All prices quoted are in New Zealand dollars and include GST (Goods and Services Tax) of 15%. While we endeavour to ensure the accuracy of our pricing on the website, Kidd's Cakes & Bakery reserves the right to adjust prices without prior notice.
Payment
Kidds Cakes & Bakery accept only Visa and MasterCard.
Colours and Likenesses
Kidds and Cakes Bakery will try to match the colours and design as closely as possible to the picture on the website, however slight colour and design variations may occur as each item is hand made by our skilled decorators. Colours can also fade and can appear differently in photo and computer screen format to that of the naked eye.
Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your order, please do so as early as possible as some cakes may be made some time before the collection / delivery date. In such cases any item ordered will be fully refunded provided that the order is cancelled by email or phone before the cake has been made. If the order is not cancelled by email or phone before the cake has been decorated the full charge will apply for that order.
Returns
Please check the product at the time of delivery for any damage. If damaged please contact Kidds Cakes & Bakery immediately and a replacement cake will be arranged.
If you are unsatisfied with the quality of the product then please return the product to Kidds Cakes & Bakery at 244 Cranford Street, St. Albans, Christchurch and one of our staff will complete a complaint form with you which will be dealt with by the manager within three days.
Delivery
Deliveries will be made between 10.00am and 1.00pm Monday to Friday unless otherwise arranged with Kidds Cakes & Bakery. Delivery cost will be $15.00 within Christchurch. Deliveries outside of Christchurch will cost more and can be arranged by contacting Kidds Cakes & Bakery. Unfortunately times cannot be specified due to the varying number and destinations of cakes to be delivered on any one day. If you have any specific instructions for the delivery of your cake please write them in the delivery instructions box. If no-one is available to receive the delivery then the cake will be left in its box in as safe a place as the driver can find. We will not accept any liability for loss or damage arising from late delivery. We will not accept any liability for loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place.
Order refusals
Objectionable pictures, photos and designs may not be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse cake orders and to proof photos used on our photographic cakes. Kidd's Cakes & Bakery do not do cakes with gang affiliated imagery or patches, illegal activity, drug use, obscene nudity or hate speech and discrimination. If an order is refused by Kidds Cakes & Bakery, we will make contact and attempt to agree with the customer on a replacement picture or photo. If this is not possible a full refund will be given.
Security
Kidds Cakes & Bakery understands the importance of privacy and security. We make use of SSL, or Secure Sockets Layer technology to ensure that your details (i.e. credit card details) are encrypted and cannot be intercepted.
Privacy
We respect your privacy and value your business. Kidds Cakes & Bakery never make your personal details available to any other party. We will hold your details in order to process your order and at time to time may send you relevant information. If at any time in the future you would like your details removed from our customer list, please advise us accordingly.
